Watch the madness

I have been obsessed with this pic from Jak & Jil for 2 months now and have been hunting down some cool gold and silver watches to pair in this 80's opulent way. A question thought.. is it a myth or is it true that if you put a watch next to the other, the bigger watch will suck the smallest watch battery? I don't know.. I remember a friend of mine screaming like a lunatic at me when I tried on hers next to mine.. 'It will loose the battery!! It will loose the battery! ' (if you have any info on this subject.. do tell)

So I did the copy cat version of it with the 4 pieces I have. In gold and black lizard skin strap a Baume & Mercer that my father gave me for my 18th birthday, it is a family watch I think. In black with white numbers, Muji, that went crazy because the part where the numbers are detached from the base and so it rotates when ever it wants, so time changes in the blink of an eye in the most bizarre way. Silver with white and swarovski crystals, Armani, a graduation gift, not very much my style, but it was given by me by some very special persons. Last but not least, my Tag Heuer that has been with me since the age of 9 when I did my first communion. Gosh this one is really old, it apparently became a collection item, so I must take care of it.

by the way.. like my new 'watching T.V and driving ' glasses?

So in my search for interesting wrist watches I stumbled upon Michele watches. They are quite the Hollywood celebrity watch, but I didn't like it because of that, it gave me a masculine vintagy vibe but still modern and quite sporty, plus they have the swarovski version and the one without which is fantastic since I am not a fan of sprinkles.

The hard and definite square and circle shape, the internal details, the gold/ silver options, along with the infinite amount of straps to chose from made me raise and eyebrow and send this item to my Santa's wish list.

I am still in search of the IT watch, but these have definitely made the top of my list.

I love the idea of wearing watches like bracelets. It looks really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
